Bryan Cranston is perfecting his Donald Trump impression, but that doesn’t mean he wants to live in a country with the Republican nominee as commander in chief. If Trump were to win the presidential election next week, Cranston said in an interview for The Bestseller Experiment podcast, “I would definitely move. … It’s not real to me that that would happen. I hope to God it won’t.”
Cranston has likened Trump to a tragic Shakespearean character, but not one he’s sure he could play: “It’s hard for me to imagine trying to justify what this man has said and done,” he said, in remarks reported by USA Today. “So, I don’t know if it’s actually possible for me to play the character, but it would be a challenge.”
No matter the outcome of the election, the Breaking Bad actor predicts it will be a rich source of inspiration for years to come: “There’ll be books written. There’ll be movies made. There will be theatrical productions about Donald Trump because of the anomaly that he presented.”
