Japan’s infamous “Suicide Forest” provides the ominous setting for a young woman, played by Natalie Dormer, whose search for her twin sister brings her to the ghost-filled wilderness.

The Addams Family (1991)

If you need a break from bone-chilling movies, this lighter romp is perfect for a fall night. Based on the 1960s TV series, the movie has the comical and macabre Addams family coming together when they suspect the man pretending to be their long-lost uncle is a fraud.

Children of the Corn (1984)

New World Pictures

Based on the story by Stephen King, the movie follows a couple that arrives in a small Nebraska town to discover that it is populated by children who follow a cult leader, called “He Who Walks Behind The Rows,” who compels them to kill adults.

The Witch (2016)

A horror movie made for the fainter of heart, The Witch combines the fervent religious beliefs of early American settlers with the presence of the occult, when the daughter of a family that lives in isolation is accused of witchcraft about 60 years ahead of the Salem witch trials.
