[Amy Schumer](http://time.com/3939261/amy-schumer-defense-race-comedy/ "undefined") and Goldie Hawn’s take on “Formation” debuted as a Tidal exclusive on Friday, featuring Schumer and Hawn attempting to re-create the now iconic selfhood anthem. It’s an odd choice for the _Mother/Daughter_ co-stars given that the song addresses racial politics and police brutality (Schumer and Hawn don shirts that read an excerpt from the song “[Texas Bama](http://www.npr.org/sections/codeswitch/2016/02/10/466178725/in-beyonc-s-formation-a-song-for-the-bama "undefined"),” a racially complex term historically used in a derogatory manner). Joan Cusack and Wanda Sykes also join them on an island, where they lip-sync and re-create some of Beyoncé’s choreography alongside flora and fauna.
