In case you’ve ever wanted to have kicks like [Marty McFly](http://time.com/4078798/back-to-the-future-day/), you can look no further than Nike’s latest release, [self-lacing sneakers that were inspired by the cult film _Back to the Future II_](http://time.com/money/4081736/pepsi-nike-delorean-back-to-future-bttf/).

In a feature with [_Wired_](https://www.wired.com/2016/09/nike-self-lacing-design-hyperadapt), the sportswear giant revealed that the impressive (and technologically advanced) [HyperAdapt 1.0](http://time.com/4261966/nike-self-lacing-sneakers-back-to-the-future/) can lace themselves, thanks to an internal cable system comprised of fishing line and a pressure sensor located in the sole that responds to the weight of your foot as you move with “an algorithmic pressure equation.”

The heels of the shoes also light up to signal when the shoe is tightening and when the batteries need to be charged — which by Nike’s estimation, should take about two weeks to run low. Charging fully takes three hours and is accomplished with a small clip-on charger similar to Apple’s model for the Apple Watch.

Nike’s PR Director Heidi Burgett revealed on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/heidiburgett/status/778269663889199104) that the HyperAdapt sneaker will be available only in the U.S., with appointments to experience and purchase beginning on November 28 of this year.

You can learn more about the shoe with the video below.
