But popular ice cream manufacturer [Ben & Jerry’s](http://time.com/4250477/ben-jerrys-core-flavors-brownie-batter-coconuts-caramel-cookies-cream-cheesecake/?iid=sr-link5) wants to remind us that even the classic summer treat is a product of our global supply chain, and is not immune to environmental changes — so they’ve decided to publicize an “Endangered Pints” list of flavors that might go the way of the Dodo, according to the company. In a [blog post](http://www.benjerry.com/whats-new/endangered-pints) put up on their web site, the [famously political makers](http://time.com/4298933/ben-jerrys-founders-arrested-political-protest/?iid=sr-link3) of crowd favorite pints like Chunky Monkey and Phish Food take a strong environmental stand, just their latest in a history of [civically-minded](http://time.com/3938424/ben-jerrys-ice-cream-flavor-gay-marriage/?iid=sr-link4) [publicity stunts.](http://time.com/3731728/ben-jerrys-founders-think-pot-ice-cream-makes-sense/?iid=sr-link6) “Pretty soon you could be seeing shortages of your favorite foods, including – _gasp!_ – Ben & Jerry’s,” the site reads. “We rely on farmers all over the world for our ingredients, and when they don’t have the predictable weather patterns needed for farming, that can mean no cocoa, no peanuts, and no [Peanut Butter Cup](http://www.benjerry.com/flavors/peanut-butter-cup-ice-cream) ice cream.” Other flavors to savor while they last?
