Brandy was a ’90s triple threat, bringing us gems like her namesake album and Moesha, but she has admitted that she doesn’t know all the lyrics to Beyoncé’s song “Formation.”
In an Instagram post from Sunday night, the singer revealed that she might need a little more time to learn all the words to the hit single.
In the clip, she sings along with the chorus of the song until she can’t remember the lyrics; thankfully, a friend was on deck to help her out and what Brandy lacked in Queen Bee lyrical knowledge, she more than made up for with her dance moves.
In the caption of the post, Brandy took a light-hearted approach to the situation with a nod to the Lemonade singer’s faithful fan base. “Ok ladies now let’s get in formation…. Oh Lord please don’t let that Hive come for me for not knowing all the words.”
