If you’re hoping to spice up your life this fall with a Spice Girls reunion for the 20th anniversary of their debut album, Spice, know that while a reunion for the group is in the works, not all the original members of the girl group will be present.
During an interview with James Corden on The Late Late Show, Mel B. (a.k.a. “Scary Spice”) revealed that a reunion does exist, but it will only be with Geri “Ginger Spice” Horner and Emma “Baby Spice” Bunton.
“We are going to do something…us three,” she said. “We’re going to perform and celebrate, you know, together for the people.”
When queried why it would only be three of them, Scary Spice had a blunt response: “Because the other two b–hes didn’t want to do it!” After clarifying that it was a joke, Scary offered a more in-depth answer.
“Let me correct that. My other two fellow lovely ladies — you know Victoria [Beckham is] busy with her great fashion line, Mel C is doing her own album — so they gracefully said ‘you three go ahead and do it.'”
