According to Jimmy Fallon, Clint Eastwood is the epitome of manliness. That was proven when Fallon asked Eastwood to take a selfie—and the actor, director, and _Dirty Harry_ star politely, but firmly, declined on Tuesday night’s show.

Eastwood eventually relaxed his anti-selfie position and snapped a mostly flattering photo only to have it “Bonk”-ed in a mini-advertisement for Fallon’s new app, Bonk. The app recreates one of _The Tonight Show’_s bits where [Fallon has his way with the faces](http://time.com/4465984/jimmy-fallon-donald-trump-ryan-lochte/) of celebrities like Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, swimmers [Ryan Lochte](http://time.com/4458466/ryan-lochte-rio-robbery-gas-station/?iid=sr-link5) (“Ryan Bonkme”) and Michael Phelps, rocker Adam Levine, and the cast of _Seinfeld_ transforming them into mushy-faced monsters. For the record, Eastwood did not appear particularly impressed with the app.

While Eastwood didn’t really want to take a selfie with Fallon, he was more than happy to show off his impression of former _Saturday Night Live_ impressionist Molly Shannon.
