Whatever they’re called, odds are we’re about to see Sony’s next two PlayStation 4 models at today’s press event—one a pricier hotrod version of the PlayStation 4 designed to output boutique graphics, the other a slimline revision of the current model that might or might not be cheaper in the bargain.
The official unveiling should happen today at a media showcase Sony’s holding in New York City’s Times Square, officially described in antiseptic terms as an opportunity “to share details about the PlayStation business.” (Don’t worry, it’s unlikely Sony’s planning to filibuster about financials for an hour or more.)
If you want to know what to expect from the event, we’ve parsed the most likely items in “Everything We Know About Sony’s ‘PlayStation Neo’ So Far.” And if you want to watch the event live, park your browser here and watch the video countdown to kickoff at 3:00 pm ET.
