The World’s Strongest Cup of Coffee Will Definitely Keep You Feeling Wide Awake

Even the most hardcore caffeine lovers may have trouble drinking an “Asskicker” from Viscous Coffee in Adelaide, Australia. Dubbed the “world’s strongest coffee,” the iced brew contains four espresso shots, 120ml of 10-day brewed cold drip coffee and eight 48-hour cold drip ice cubes, packing in 80 times the amount of caffeine found in a regular cup o’ joe, according to The Advertiser.

“Some people love it and some are broken by it but it’s all in the name of fun,” said café owner Steve Benington.

The high-energy beverage — which is meant to be consumed over three to four hours for 12 to 18 hours of “sustained up-time” — was originally created by Benington for an emergency room nurse who was assigned an unexpected night shift. “She consumed her drink over two days and it kept her up for almost three days — I toned it down a little after that and the ‘Asskicker’ was born,” he said.

However, the brew isn’t for everyone, as it also comes with a health warning: “Persons with high blood pressure and/or heart conditions, drink at your own risk.”
