The network unveiled the first look at its new anthology program Tuesday, debuting a trailer for _The Case of: JonBenét Ramsey_ that explores how those involved in the project dove deeper into the 1996 killing of the 6-year-old Colorado beauty pageant contestant.

Beginning with a recording of the 911 call made by Ramsey’s mother, the preview introduces viewers to the team of experts trying to solve the murder — including an FBI investigator who worked the original case and a Scotland Yard criminal behavioral analyst.

## Transcript

911 emergency. We have a kidnapping. Hurry please. Explain to me what's going on okay. We have a, there's a note left and our daughter's gone. [ MUSIC ] Let me address very directly, I did not kill my daughter, JonBenét. [ MUSIC ] God knows who you are And we will find you. [ MUSIC ] The list of suspects narrows. There's a ransom note here. It's a ransom note? What? Does it say I don't know. Sorry, sorry. Patsy? Patsy? Patsy? Patsy? [ MUSIC ] So you try to solve that homicide but the homicide doesn't exist. I did not kill Jonbenet. I love that child. We do not have sufficient evidence. This little girl's homicide To this date has been unresolved.

In my opinion, I think we can change that right now. It's 20 years later and this case is still unsolved. We hope to get the truth out about how she died. She's not gotten justice yet. My experience as a prosecutor in New York City helps me understand how you put together a case [ SOUND ] And the victim advocacy side is really crucial here and we're standing in her shoes twenty years on trying to get to the bottom of this. [ MUSIC ] We have so much evidence. We're this close. It's just a matter of getting people together like ourselves, put it all together, and put it to rest. Doctor Henry Lee.

Each piece of evidence we're going to extract. Then we'll analyze Jim Fitzgerald. From historical perspective, this is uncharacteristic of any kind of kidnapping letter I've ever seen. Stan Burke. Out of 370 words, 76 % is extraneous. They're trying to sell this now. It's a sales job. James Kolar. I didn't think that a stun gun would've been used on a six year old child. Then there's Dr. Werner Spitz. When you break into a house Isn't time of the essence? [ SOUND ] There is obviously a lot going on behind the scenes. Police Department morale and people's lives were destroyed. You didn't testify in the Grand Jury?

For 20 years, nobody asked me. I think it really would have turned the case around. They think the call has been disconnected from 911. I want to show you with noise reduction. We're not speaking to you. I can recognize that voice. We're actually rebuilding the house. I gotta say 50, 000 square foot warehouse. Each floor has its own space, so we'll be able to walk around It's just incredible, the reality of standing within it. You'd have to be a contortionist, I think, to come through here. There's absolutely no way they could have come in or out from this window. We have five different motives in this one crime.

It makes no sense. The most important thing is to go where the evidence takes us. Hey don't ever, ever contact me again. Burke! Come on! We want to talk to you! Unbelievable. Really want to get the truth out. So that Jonbenet can rest in peace. [ BLANK_AUDIO ]
