Walking away with gold medals after winning by more than eight points. The Russian Federation took silver and China won Bronze. The first rotation was vault, where Biles, Hernandez and Raisman each posted scores above 15, with Biles scoring the highest at 15. 933. Now during the second rotation, which was the uneven bars, Biles, Douglas and Kocian performed very strongly, but they were lead by Kocian's 15. 933. And then came the balance beam, which was just as strong as the other rotations. With [ UNKNOWN ], Biles, and Hernandez all scoring well, [ UNKNOWN ] began with a 15 followed by Hernandez at 15. 233 and Biles topping it off at 15. 3. In the final rotation before locking in the gold was the floor exercise but the team was already ahead by five points. And they went on to extend that lead with three more amazing performances from Hernandez, Raisman, and then Biles finishing the afternoon with a 15. 800. After the big win, rock star gymnast Simone Biles hopped on Twitter saying dreams do come true.
