The U.S. leads the Rio Olympics medal count with 100 medals so far—35 of which are the coveted gold. Shooter Virginia Thrasher clinched the first gold medal of the Summer Games, setting the tone for a gold haul for Team USA when she won the women’s 10m air rifle on Aug. 6.
China and Great Britain trail the U.S. in total medals with 58 and 56 medals, respectively, as of Friday.
