Khan, who was killed while serving in Iraq in 2004\. Khan’s wife, Ghazala, was at her husband’s side during his speech. “I think I’ve made a lot of sacrifices. I work very, very hard,” Trump said on Saturday, in an [interview with ABC News](http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/donald-trump-father-fallen-soldier-ive-made-lot/story?id=41015051). “I’ve created thousands and thousands of jobs, tens of thousands of jobs, built great structures. She had nothing to say. She probably, maybe she wasn’t allowed to have anything to say. You tell me,” Trump said. “She was extremely quiet, and it looked like she had nothing to say.” Trump made a similar remark in an [interview](http://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/30/opinion/trumps-thunderbolts.html) with New York _Times_ columnist Maureen Dowd on Friday night. “I’d like to hear his wife say something,” Trump said.
