Watch This Science Kid Show You How to Create a Tornado in a Jar

1 minute read

Devoted budding scientist Oliver is here to show you how he whips up a small tornado in a jar at home.

In a video that’s getting traction on Reddit, he creates a tornado out of a few regular household items, but his delivery is more endlessly entertaining than watching the tornado form.

Oliver has really intense, entirely adorable feelings about the scientific facts. “Tornadoes dance, that’s how they destroy stuff,” he warns. He makes tornadoes in jars look so easy, and his shirt may just be a regular shirt, but it’s probably a lab coat, so he’s a mad scientist.

This is the first episode of “Oliver’s Science Lab,” and it includes a brief overview of the Fujita scale that you need. Watch below.
