Thanks to a [meme made by an Instagram user](https://www.instagram.com/p/BHKwA8TBPxG/) who goes by the moniker @littlehiltonboy, we can all relive the early-aughts when [Paris Hilton](http://time.com/4118740/fopo-meaning-etymology/) was the celebutante supreme and Kim Kardashian was her sidekick/assistant. Paris Hilton, the OG reality star — may we never forget. ## Transcript Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will soon be Mr. and Mrs ., but before they're bound for life here's a rundown of how they went from flirtation to family. The pop culture power duo was first spotted hanging out back in 2010. But relationship rumors seemed to be just that, rumor's at the time. Kim went on to date, and then Wed, basketball star Kris Humphries, but their marriage, lasted an infamous 72 days. A few months after Kim and Kris' split, Kanye released his 2012 track, Cold Theraflu, featuring the lyrics, and I'll admit I had fell in love with Kim, around the same time she had fell in love with him. But I said before, I mean, Kanye and I have been friends for years. And, you know, you never know what the future holds or where my life will take me, so, I like the song. Their relationship soon turned into romance and Kimye was born. That summer the reality star gushed about her quote, new fairytale, to Oprah. One day it just, I don't know it just happened and I'm like, it took kinda like, took me by surprise even. The pair did come under fire for their past relations, notably from West's ex Amber Rose, but it turns out Kanye had been in love with Kim for some time. I, I loved her from the first day I saw her, which I said on bound, I don't remember when that was [ LAUGH ]. I don't know when [ LAUGH ]. I remember seeing pictures with her, you know, I think she was in Australia with Paris Hilton or something, and, and reading her name and telling my friends like, have you ever seen Kim Kardashian? Those pictures Kanye was talking about, that was back in 2006. Once they were finally together, things were a whirlwind. Not long after going public with their relationship, Kanye announced some big news. Can we make some noise for my baby momma Kim Kardashian? [ NOISE ]. After revealing they were expecting Kim and Kanye steamed up the cover of a French fashion magazine, and made numerous public appearance, notably at the Met Gala. Then in June 2013 the couple welcomed a daughter, North West. The pair kept a low profile, after becoming parents, but they did show their love online, shamelessly flirting. Who can forget that selfie? And then they made a big splash in October, when Kanye popped the question, in San Francisco, on Kim's 33rd birthday. They followed that, with the over the top, and topless movie video, for Kanye's song Bound To. And since then it's been all about wedding planning and that vogue photo shoot.
