Seth Meyers recently banned Donald Trump from his show, but now he has a new proposition for the presumptive GOP nominee: drop out of the race, and he’ll get his own TV show where he can play the president.
“Let’s be honest, TV is the perfect place to accomplish all you want to do with your presidency. Because a lot of what you want to do is impossible in the real world,” Meyers said to Trump through his show. The Late Night host said NBC would give Trump a 13 episode scripted series where Trump gets to play the president. He said he hasn’t actually run this idea by the network yet, but “they’re not picky.”
