Dashcam footage captured by a New Jersey police car Friday shows a falling tree striking the officer as he runs and narrowly escapes it toppling him completely.
Officer Douglas Faber, 33, of the Ringwood Police, had left his squad car to move a downed tree when a larger tree fell, according to a report from the local ABC affiliate. The officer ran but still sustained some injuries, including a broken wrist. He was treated and released from a local hospital the same day as the incident. See video of the incident below.
