When Olivia Munn lost 12 pounds for her latest X-Men film, people were skeptical about her methods. However, in the June cover story for Women’s Health, Munn reveals that she prepared for the high-profile role the old-fashioned way: By watching what she ate and exercising.
“My intention was to just get as fit and as healthy as I could be, for myself,” Munn said during her cover shoot. “It’s a big difference because I started working out every single day, and then I also started getting into eating 20-80, where 80% of your diet is fruits and vegetables and 20% is whatever.”
Munn commented on the criticism she got for her weight loss: “I think…when you’re in the public eye, [scrutiny] does come with it. People want to say things.”
