Prince Harry opened up on the death of his mother Princess Diana and how he hopes he is making his mother “incredibly proud” in People magazine’s cover story on the royal family.
“I know I’ve got a lot of my mother in me,” he said. “All I want to do is make my mother incredibly proud…. I will have to, in a good way, spend the rest of my life trying to fill that void as much as possible. And so will William.”
A key way he is doing that is through his philanthropic work. The royal, a British Army vet, has been promoting the upcoming Invictus Games, an athletic competition that he started for wounded soldiers and veterans that kicks off May 8 in Orlando, Fla.
