The Beijing Municipal High People’s Court ruled on March 31 that Chinese leather accessories manufacturer Xintong Tiandi Technology can continue using the name “IPHONE” on products like purses, passport-holders and phone cases, Quartz cited Chinese-language media as reporting. The firm advertises several of these products on its [website](http://61357ede.s538.now.top/ "undefined"). According to Quartz, Xintong Tiandi registered the “IPHONE” trademark in 2007, five years after Apple did for manufacturing purposes but two years before it began selling its popular iPhone models in China.
