From the beginning, I've said that I would continue on as long as there was a viable path to victory. Tonight, I'm sorry to say. No. It appears That path has been foreclosed. No! We gave it everything we've got, but the voters chose another path. And so, with a heavy heart but with boundless optimism. for the long term future of her nation we are suspending our Campaign, but hear me now, we are not suspending our fight for liberty [ CLAPS ] [ APPLAUSE ] [ MUSIC ] [ APPLAUSE ] [ MUSIC ] Ted Cruz, I don't know if he likes me or if he doesn't like me but he is one hell of a competitor, he is a tough, smart guy.

[ APPLAUSE ] And he has got An amazing future, he's got an amazing future. So I want to congratulate Ted. This has been an amazing evening, I didn't expect this. I didn't expect it. And what Ted did is a really very brave thing to do, and a gret thing to do. Because we want to bring unity to the Republican party.
