[Alex Trebek](http://time.com/3967894/jeopardy-alex-trebek-song-lyrics/) said he would be willing to play “[Turd Ferguson](http://time.com/4038307/jeopardy-turd-ferguson-alex-trebek/)” on _Saturday Night Live,_ a fake contestant name from the long-running _SNL_ spoof _Celebrity Jeopardy!,_ in which cast members would play different stars competing on the game show, hosted by Will Ferrell. Turd Ferguson was the fake contestant name for Norm MacDonald’s Burt Reynolds. Trebek offered to make this cameo in a Twitter video by a [_USA Today_](http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/entertainthis/2016/04/11/alex-trebek-snl-could-turd-ferguson/82886508/) reporter at Constitution Hall in Washington D.C., where several tournaments were taped over the weekend. > [](https://twitter.com/CaraReports/status/718923556319404032) It is not the first time the host has uttered that name in public.
