The _X-Men_ star can be seen in video obtained by Australia’s [_Nine News_](http://www.9news.com.au/entertainment/2016/03/26/18/47/hugh-jackman-rescues-son-and-others-from-rip-at-bondi "undefined") helping a man get his footing in the ocean before rescuing his 15-year-old son Oscar, [_The Guardian_ reports](http://www.theguardian.com/film/2016/mar/27/hugh-jackman-rescues-swimmer-and-son-from-rip-at-sydneys-bondi-beach "undefined"). _Nine News_ said another swimmer linked hands with the actor to help him reach his 10-year-old daughter Ava and pull her to safety.
