Here’s a something to talk about during a happy hour: Trucks carrying Frito-Lay chips and Busch beer collided on a Florida highway in the middle of the night on Wednesday.
Authorities say the truck carrying the chips was parked in the right shoulder of Interstate 95 when the beer truck driver attempted to move from the right lane to the center lane but saw another vehicle was too close. After deciding last-minute to move back into the right lane, he accidentally hit the chips truck, which overturned just after 3:00 a.m. The contents of both vehicles spilled out onto the highway, forcing lanes to shut down for nearly four hours so they could be cleaned.
A Florida Highway Patrol spokesperson told Florida Today, that”all of the products will be thrown away,” in case anyone was wondering whether spring-breakers pulled over and went to town over the ‘free’ food.
