Here’s How Hulk Hogan Responded to Winning a $115 Million Verdict

Mar 19, 2016

Hulk Hogan was unsurprisingly pleased with the verdict reached in his suit against news website Gawker, which awarded the professional wrestler $115 in compensatory damages over its publication of a sex tape featuring Hogan. And like anyone in the age of social media, he took to Twitter to share his thoughts about the victory.

Before the trial began, Hogan had said he would "slam another giant."

While Gawker intends to appeal the decision, Hogan's lawyers said the verdict was a statement about "the public’s disgust with the invasion of privacy disguised as journalism."
