It only took the comedian a few tries before he got dunked in the water tank. The cause is related to his latest role because Deadpool, whose real name is Wade Wilson, is a [“former Special Forces operative turned mercenary”](http://www.foxmovies.com/movies/deadpool "undefined") who was [diagnosed](http://time.com/4219431/review-ryan-reynolds-deadpool/ "undefined") with an incurable cancer after getting engaged to Vanessa (Morena Baccarin).
