The untraditional superhero flick smashed multiple box office records with a whopping [$135 million opening weekend](http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/comscore-announces-official-worldwide-box-office-results-for-weekend-of-february-14-2016-300219908.html) and earned the [biggest debut ever for an R-rated film](http://time.com/4224410/deadpool-box-office-movie-ryan-reynolds/). In fact, some viewers were so enthralled by the [Merc with a Mouth](http://time.com/4215470/deadpool-writers-superhero-movie/) that they’re already demanding more from Marvel’s latest star. One die-hard fan, Andrew Stege, has even created a [Change.org petition](https://www.change.org/p/lorne-michaels-have-deadpool-host-saturday-night-live) to bring the Ryan Reynolds character to _Saturday Night Live_.
