On Thursday’s episode of _The Ellen DeGeneres Show_ pop sensation Adele said she couldn’t stop crying after a [microphone glitch](http://time.com/4225527/grammys-2016-adele-sound-issues-what-went-wrong/) at the [Grammys](http://time.com/4224932/grammys-2016-winners-list-nominees/) threw off her live performance of “All I Ask” from her [latest album ](http://time.com/4155801/adele-story/)[_25_](http://time.com/4155801/adele-story/)_._ 

“I cried pretty much all day yesterday,” she told the comedian. But the southern California trip wasn’t a total disaster. She said she cried in a good way when she went to Disneyland for the first time with her [toddler son](http://time.com/4155795/adele-time-cover-story-interview-motherhood-25/). “I was full on welled up, I was really emotional…I cried when I met Belle because… she sounded just like the character in the film, and I burst into tears.”
