Jay’s back.
Retired Tonight Show host Jay Leno replaced Jimmy Fallon for a part Wednesday’s monologue while the show was shooting on the road in Los Angeles.
“I think I might have pulled something on that last joke. I’m not sure I can go,” Fallon joked before calling on Leno to take his place.
Leno ran through a slew of political jokes about the 2016 presidential election before giving the mic back Fallon. “Hillary says she’s been tested,” Leno joked. “Well I hope so. You never know what Bill might bring home.”
