This weekend, your favorite curmudgeon Larry David is hosting Saturday Night Live, where you can definitely expect him to reprise his famous Bernie Sanders impression.
“But you don’t have to watch it, don’t worry about it,” the Curb Your Enthusiasm creator says in these new promo videos. “You got something to do, honest to God, go ahead and do it, it’s not a big deal.”
Cast member Leslie Jones, who appears in the promos alongside David, is not having this. She, uh, really wants you to watch her show. David, who briefly worked as a writer on the show in the ’80s, insists that it doesn’t matter. “What’s the difference if they watch or not? The show’s been on for 40 years. Who cares really?”
We’re going to recommend you do watch. That way if you get trapped in a stop and chat the next day, you’ll have something to talk about.
