And 3.5 million people who go to Maine check out the L. L. Bean flagship store annually. This map [pulled 2009 numbers from National Park Services, state tourism offices, and other statistical resources](http://coolrain44.wordpress.com/2009/07/19/top-us-attractions-state-by-state/ "undefined") to show what the most popular attractions are in every state across the United States. Unfortunately no balls of twine made the cut.
