South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham will endorse former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush for president, the Charleston Post and Courier reported on Friday morning. Graham reportedly plans to make the announcement during a press conference in North Charleston, South Carolina on Friday.
Sources in Graham’s camp told the Post Courier that Graham has decided to endorse Bush because he “is prepared to be the commander-in-chief on day one,” and “will beat Hillary Clinton.”
The announcement comes one day after the sixth GOP presidential debate, which also took place in North Charleston. Graham exited the presidential race himself in December when he could not raise his poll numbers above single digits.
