Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” is, by all accounts, a wild success. It was the first song ever to hit [500 million streams](http://www.forbes.com/sites/hughmcintyre/2015/10/13/ed-sheerans-thinking-out-loud-is-the-first-song-to-hit-500-million-plays-on-spotify/) on Spotify, its [music video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lp-EO5I60KA) has logged 924 million views, and it’s [nominated ](http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/grammys/6812903/grammys-2016-preview-best-pop-solo-performance-nominees)for several Grammys. Oh, and it raked in so much money that it apparently helped one of Sheeran’s friends [pay her mortgage](http://time.com/4086881/ed-sheerans-thinking-out-loud-mortgage/).

But if you’re in the mood for a _completely_ different spin on it, the popular YouTube channel [Postmodern Jukebox](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCORIeT1hk6tYBuntEXsguLg) has you covered.
