Kilmister formed Motörhead with Larry Wallis and Lucas Fox in 1975, and remained with the band even as the lineup continually changed over a span of 22 albums. _Ace of Spades_ was the group’s fourth album, released in 1980. Foo Fighters also remembered Kilmister by posting a short note [on their official Facebook page](https://www.facebook.com/foofighters/posts/10156312149330545) Dec. 28: “We’ve lost a friend & legend,” they wrote. “My heart is broken. RIP Lemmy. Born To Lose, Lived To Win.” See Grohl’s tattoo below. Grohl and the Foo Fighters were joined by dozens of other artists who spoke about Lemmy after his death.
