While traveling abroad, it’s always a good idea to check in with your parents back home, just to let them know you’re safe. That’s what this Irish backpacker named Roger Ryan did—except he did it seconds before leaping out of a plane.
Roger Skyped his parents from the plane in his current location of Sydney, Australia, the Guardian reports. They had virtually no idea that he was in a plane at the time, much less that he was about to jump out of it. Their reaction was absolutely priceless and, warning, full of swearing:
The video was a stunt from HostelWorld.com and part of a video series to “show that when you stay in hostels, you meet people who turbo-charge your experience,” a spokesperson told the Huffington Post.
“I would not have thought that was f–king possible,” Ryan’s dad concludes.
