Actor Andy Serkis, who plays the character, stopped by _Conan_ Monday night to talk about his role in the highly anticipated film. Despite the fact that _The Force Awakens_ producer Kathleen Kennedy [swears](http://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/movies/star-wars-producer-confirms-jar-jar-binks-not-upcoming-movie-n475791 "undefined") Jar Jar is not in the film, Serkis jokingly confirmed to host Conan O’Brien that the rumors are true: The worst part of _The Phantom Menace_ has been re-born as an evil leader.
