There are many, [many fan theories](http://time.com/4116403/star-wars-force-awakens-fan-theories/) about _Star Wars: The Force Awakens_ and one of the most intriguing (and [most likely untrue](http://www.ew.com/article/2015/11/30/jar-jar-binks-fan-theory-jj-abrams)) is that the mysterious Supreme Leader Snoke is actually the much-hated Gungan, Jar Jar Binks.

Actor Andy Serkis, who plays the character, stopped by _Conan_ Monday night to talk about his role in the highly anticipated film. Despite the fact that _The Force Awakens_ producer Kathleen Kennedy [swears](http://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/movies/star-wars-producer-confirms-jar-jar-binks-not-upcoming-movie-n475791) Jar Jar is not in the film, Serkis jokingly confirmed to host Conan O’Brien that the rumors are true: The worst part of _The Phantom Menace_ has been re-born as an evil leader.

The reality should not come as a huge surprise to _Star Wars_ fans who are keen to the fact that Serkis bears an uncanny resemblance to Jar Jar and does a spot-on Gungan voice.
