Ryan Gosling will host _Saturday Night Live_ this weekend, so he joined cast member Aidy Bryant for a series of promos ahead of the episode.

The two-minute clip begins with Bryant trying to manipulate Gosling into kissing her passionately. He forgives her and then hugs her, inviting her to “bond.” Shenanigans ensue, like Gosling recreating a _Titanic_ scene and accidentally spitting on a baby. They also agree to go “wail on their pecs.”

It looks like Ryan Gosling will be a promising host — but it will certainly be hard for him to beat [Tina and Amy](http://time.com/4116794/tina-fey-amy-poehler-host-snl/).
