Prince Harry shared a series of harrowing pictures and videos from his trip to Africa as he worked alongside rangers responding to poaching attacks.
The 31-year-old prince personally captioned each video and picture— which were taken on his summer trip to Tanzania, South Africa, Botswana and Namibia. He shared it on Kensington Palace’s Instagram feed to coincide with his official visit on Wednesday to Kruger National Park in South Africa.
Harry, who spent three months over the summer working as a wildlife conservation volunteer, was shown a recently slaughtered female rhino and her calf on Wednesday, reports People. She was killed for her horn, one of the world’s most valuable commodities.
“This belongs to South Africa and it’s been stolen by other people. And the body’s left here, wasted” said Harry as he motioned to the carcass.
