And late-night shows are getting quite inventive with their guests from another galaxy. Harrison Ford, who’s reprising his role as Han Solo in the new film, appeared on _The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon_ Monday. During his visit he was served a _Star Wars_/Fallon hybrid cocktail called ‘The Millennium Fallon,’ named for the starship Ford’s character pilots in the films. “How cool is that, right?” Fallon asked Ford, when he slipped colored ice cubes into lit up cocktails curated by Manhattan’s Jim Meehan of the bar Please Don’t Tell. “What’s cool?” Ford responded. “It’s a lightsaber!” But Ford wasn’t really having it. How cool is that? [00:07] What's cool? He clearly wasn't too impressed with Jimmy's [00:11] light saber themed cocktails and was definitely against [00:13] taking a Greedo shot first. I don't think so. [ LAUGH ] I'm [00:17] working. Too bad he's totally susceptible to peer pressure. [00:20] Come on, Han. And just when you thought it couldn't get [00:24] any worse, Jimmy brought up a sensitive topic, when [00:27] Harrison broke his leg on the set of Star Wars, the Force [00:30] Awakens. Jimmy asked Harrison to demonstrate his injury [00:33] on a Hans Solo doll. And, well. That one was- They [00:37] dislocated the ankle, forward. [ SOUND ] [ LAUGH ] They [00:39] broke this leg! All right! Hey, give it to me! Hey, come on! [00:43] [ BLEEP ] Yeah, apparently there's some lingering hard [00:46] feelings there. But hopefully it was all worth it. You can [00:49] catch The Force Awakens in theaters in two painfully long [00:53] weeks on December 18. ```json [{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"NewsArticle","@id":"https://time.com/4132344/star-wars-harrison-ford-greedo-shot-first-fallon/","mainEntityOfPage":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://time.com/4132344/star-wars-harrison-ford-greedo-shot-first-fallon/"},"headline":"Jimmy Fallon Made Harrison Ford Take a 'Greedo Shot' First","datePublished":"2015-12-02T14:50:22.000Z","dateModified":"2026-10-05T08:40:13.490Z","description":"Han Solo is not impressed","url":"https://time.com/4132344/star-wars-harrison-ford-greedo-shot-first-fallon/","keywords":["Newsfeed","Television","movies","Star Wars"],"thumbnailUrl":"https://static.time.com/v3/assets/bltea6093859af6183b/blt62780755769464c3/69887365a988cacc396b5874/milleunium-fallon.jpg?branch=production&width=1200&quality=75&auto=webp&crop=1200:675&height=675","author":[{"@type":"Person","name":"ashley Ross","jobTitle":null,"url":"https://time.com/author/ashley-ross/"}],"articleSection":"","image":[{"@type":"ImageObject","url":"https://static.time.com/v3/assets/bltea6093859af6183b/blt62780755769464c3/69887365a988cacc396b5874/milleunium-fallon.jpg?branch=production&width=1200&quality=75&auto=webp&crop=1200:675&height=675","width":1200,"height":675,"headline":"Jimmy Fallon Harrison Ford","caption":"Jimmy Fallon Harrison Ford","creditText":"NBC","representativeOfPage":true}],"publisher":{"@type":"Organization","name":"Time","url":"https://time.com/","logo":{"@type":"ImageObject","url":"https://time.com/images/logo.png","width":528,"height":156},"foundingDate":"March 3, 1923","sameAs":["https://www.facebook.com/time","https://www.instagram.com/time/?hl=en","https://twitter.com/time","https://www.pinterest.com/timemagazine"]}},{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"BreadcrumbList","itemListElement":[{"@type":"ListItem","position":1,"item":{"@id":"https://time.com/tag/time-section-newsfeed/","name":"Newsfeed"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":2,"item":{"@id":"https://time.com/4132344/star-wars-harrison-ford-greedo-shot-first-fallon/","name":"Jimmy Fallon Made Harrison Ford Take a 'Greedo Shot' First"}}]},{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"VideoObject","name":"Late Night Highlight: Harrison Ford Just Wasn’t Having Jimmy Fallon’s ‘Tonight Show’ Shenanigans","description":"Harrison Ford wasn't impressed with Jimmy Fallon in any way, shape or form during his appearance on the \"Tonight Show.\"","thumbnailUrl":"https://cdn.jwplayer.com/v2/media/meVs1djH/poster.jpg?width=720","uploadDate":"2015-12-02T12:38:57.000Z","contentUrl":"https://cdn.jwplayer.com/manifests/meVs1djH.m3u8","embedUrl":"https://time.com/4132344/star-wars-harrison-ford-greedo-shot-first-fallon/","duration":"PT55S","potentialAction":{"@type":"SeekToAction","target":"https://time.com/4132344/star-wars-harrison-ford-greedo-shot-first-fallon/?jw_start={seek_to_second_number}","startOffset-input":"required name=seek_to_second_number"}}] ```
