French anti-terrorism police staged a large raid in a suburb of Paris against a suspected terror cell Wednesday morning, a raid that officials said Thursday morning had killed the alleged mastermind of last week’s deadly attacks.

The raid, which lasted hours and involved heavy exchanges of gunfire, was captured by a number of residents on their cellphones.
