A video of a person dressed as Star Wars villain Darth Vader — riding through a house on a “Hoverboard” for all of four seconds before crashing into a wall — should serve as a reminder that Halloween costume masks should always have proper eye holes. Because hopefully most people know enough not to ride a Hoverboard inside a house.
YouTube user James K. Crowther uploaded the footage with a description that simply said, “Sometimes the force just isn’t with you.” And it’s even funnier to watch if you just imagine the character saying, “Luke, I am your father” before crashing into a wall.
That said, some have pulled off the Hoverboard look with a fair amount of practice, like this Aladdin riding a “red carpet” through traffic:
