Other nominees include Chicago, Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, the Cars, The Smiths and Yes. The decision is now partly in the hands of voters to push for which musicians should be inducted. Voting concludes on December 9, when a ‘fans’ ballot’ will be included when the Rock Hall voting body makes the final decision. The winners will be announced in December and inducted in April in New York.
