Eric Stonestreet, known for playing Cam on Modern Family, is apparently a real jokester who loves pulling pranks. His favorite target? His TV husband, Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
Stonestreet stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday, where he revealed a prank he’d pulled on Ferguson earlier that day. It began, as so many modern pranks do, with a hijacked phone. Stonestreet took Ferguson’s phone, opened his Instagram account and started liking “a whole bunch of butt-twerking videos. Like, female butt-twerking videos.” Of course, Ferguson’s fans notices and tried alerting him that his phone had been hijacked.
In an interview with Conan O’Brien last year, Stonestreet revealed some of the other pranks he likes to pull on Ferguson. Most of them involve loudly calling attention to Ferguson in public places and then hiding.
Stonestreet’s pranks haven’t all been entirely benign, though. A few months ago, he apologized to Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons for involving him in an elaborate sex toy prank.
