See the Latest Drone Footage of Apple’s Futuristic New Campus

1 minute read

Apple’s new campus, which has taken the place of Hewlett-Packard’s old site, won unanimous approval by the Cupertino City Council at the tail end of 2013. During Steve Jobs’ presentation he described the building as looking “a little like a spaceship has landed.” It has since been known as the “spaceship” campus, although it’s officially called Campus 2.

The “spaceship” campus is scheduled to open at the end of next year and is expected to house 12,000 more Apple employees than the company’s current location. Thanks to videographer MyithZ, you can now see drone footage of the progress that’s been made on construction of the four-story, 2.8 million square foot, curved glass structure.
