On Thursday night, The Daily Show With Trevor Noah hosted its first musical guest, singer-songwriter Ryan Adams. The musician, joined by his band, performed three Taylor Swift covers from his recently released reinterpretation of the pop superstar’s album 1989.
In an interview, the musician claimed it only took a few weeks to put together the remixes. The comedian also joked, “A lot of people thought you recorded this album ironically, and yet you did not,” to which Adams just responded, “Yes.”
