David Schwimmer, famous for his role as Ross Geller on Friends, will return to television next year in a new British sitcom.
The show will be a six-part series called Morning Has Broken, the Guardian reports, and Schwimmer will play a TV producer called in to save a failing morning show. He has rarely appeared in television shows since Friends ended its run in 2004.
Julia Davis wrote the show and will co-star in it; she has acted in Love Actually and Persuasion, and is responsible for previous series such as BBC3’s Nighty Night.
The show will air on Channel 4 in the UK next year.
