Global convenience store chain 7-Eleven recently announced that its new delivery service will include “convenience packs” with themes such as “Date Night” and “Hangover.”
The “Date Night Pack,” available for $20 plus a $2 service fee, includes a tub of Ben & Jerry’s chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, a Hershey’s chocolate bar, a can of Red Bull, an 18-piece pack of Trident gum and a three-pack of Trojan Ultra Thin condoms.
And for those mornings after, the “Hangover Pack” includes extra-strength acetaminophen, a fruit punch Gatorade, a large pepperoni pizza, and a smoked turkey and pepper jack sandwich for $15.
DoorDash is partnering with 7-Eleven to provide the on-demand delivery service, which will be available in five major metropolitan markets across the country. New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Boston are the lucky cities getting it first.
“This partnership between the world’s largest convenience store chain and a leading on-demand delivery start-up can redefine convenience,” Raja Doddala, 7‑Eleven’s vice president of innovation and omnichannel strategy, said in a statement.
