Simpsons executive producer Al Jean says that Vergara will have an open door at _The Simpsons_, as Marcia Wallace, the actress who voiced Bart’s regular teacher Mrs. Krabappel passed away in 2013\. _Modern Family_ films at the same studio as The Simpsons. Vergara’s episode, titled “Teenage Milk-Caused Hurdles,” is expected to air in the middle of season 27, which kicks off Sept. 27.
