Waxman Staff Writer Aug 3, 2015 8:30 PM UTC A YouTube channel that dishes out technology advice [“Mrwhosetheboss”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YWTtCsvgvg&feature=youtu.be) appears to have a strategy for turning smartphones into 3D hologram projectors that involves a plastic CD cover, a glass cutter, a sheet of graph paper, some tape, and a pen. The video has racked up more than 2.3 million views in two days. [Other YouTube users have posted tutorials](https://www.youtube.com/results?search%5Fquery=smartphone+3d+hologram&search%5Fsort=video%5Fview%5Fcount) about this trick before, but this clip has just become the most popular on the video-sharing website. Matej Divizna—Getty Images ## Transcript After a hacker breached dozens of celebrity's cloud storage accounts and leaked nude photos of stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and dozens of others, you might be asking yourself, could the same thing happen to me? Well it could, but here's how to stop it. The hacker in this case was probably able to get access to the celeb's accounts. Because they weren't using something called two- step authentication. Basically two- step works like this. Instead of simply typing in a password to get access to your account, you type in a password, and then the service you're logging into emails or texts you a short randomly generated code. Only once you enter in that code are you given access to your account [ MUSIC ] 2 step authentication works, because well a hacker might be able to guess or otherwise get your password. It is nearly impossible for a hacker to steal your phone and then get a secondary code before you notice your device is suddenly gone. Recently, more of your favorite services have started offering 2 step identification, including several banks, Facebook, Twitter, Google and. The [ UNKNOWN ] Apple's iCloud, turning on two step verification is similar on all these services, and a simple Google search will turn up instructions on how to do so.
